New birthday tradition?

this might be a new tradition to go shooting for my birthday. We actually took someone from PJs work who had never been before and turned it into a date for my birthday.

Oh mY

My turn to get hurt at work. The oxygen tank decided to burst out a flame and burn my thumb a little. I think it scared the little girl getting the oxygen more than me.

Mom

So my mom called and said she fell off a step stool and broke her foot. Indeed she did.

She didnt want me to take pictures but I did anyway. She will have surgery, two pins will have to be put in. Nothing like keeping us on our toes for the next few weeks.

Nieces

Mrs. Natalie Bunn (Laura my sisters youngest) is my mini me at least I think so. I absolutely love this little girl. We had lots of fun reading books, playing games, her letting me do her hair. and just letting me snuggle with her. It's great to have a girl every once in a while but man they are way more work than boys. :)

Mrs. Audra Bunn, Laura's oldest daughter. We had a lot of fun together too. I sure do miss these girls. I am grateful to have spent some time with them.

Speech Class

This semester I am taking Speech and Microbiology. I thought yeah speech will be easy that would be a good one to take with Micro. Well my Speech teacher is a little bit of a crazy women. She is 97 years old and mean. She mumbles a lot which makes it hard to understand her. But so far I like the class. One of my speeches I had to give with a visual aid. I decided to do it on inexpensive dates. I made little signs of date ideas and as i talked about them I put it on the board(visual aid check). One of the coolest cheap dates that I talked about was glow in the dark skipping rocks. What you do is take a glow stick and open it up and dump it into a bag. Then find some skipping rocks and throw those into the bag. After they are covered pull them out and skip away. It is really cool to watch them skip across the water and glow.

We decided to try this with Jayde, Wil, and the boys. We forgot the knife to open the glow sticks so we twisted them til they broke. It was hard to do but we finally got some rocks to glow and it was neat to watch. Justin was a little freaked out because it was night and he thought we were going to get into trouble for being down at the river at that time, or maybe a mountain lion would attack us. His imagination goes wild, and he couldn't relax. We ended up cutting it short but we still had a wonderful time.

I suggest getting the glow sticks ready before you go and making sure that you go when you can see them glow. I forgot my camera and I tried to take pictures with my phone but they didnt turn out so well. Maybe next time.

Mom's Birthday

Happy Birthday

This lady turned 70 today! It is crazy. She is crazy but she's my mom and my dad loved her to pieces. I am glad for all the things she has taught me and thankful for the Grandma she is to my kids. I hope she has a wonderful day celebrating her time her on this earth.
