Halloween

My friend Aimee is super good at decorating, sewing, crafting, you name it she is good. She loves to decorate her house and made theses ghosts and big spiders and webs. Her house is super cool to go look at, at night they have the fog machine out and it makes Halloween a fun time. I don't know where she gets her time or energy but she is definitely a person I admire.

Ward Halloween party

Our church puts on a Halloween get together every year. We dress up, play games, eat, have fun, and then go trunk or treating. As the boys get older it is fun to see how much effort they put into their costumes and how I am not crafty at all, so they come up with alot of their own stuff. It is great.

Halloween dance

Every year the stake puts on one dance that all 12+ can attend the halloween dance. They encourage costumes and it is a great way for the boys to interact with the rest of the stake.
Roy as General McArthur

Justin as bat man

They don't allow masks so he showed me how he was going to wear it.

Roy did dance with some girls, Justin said maybe next year.

Field trip

Part of my job as a health assistant i have to attend field trips for those kids that need a cpr trained person to administer their medication(usually kids with epi-pens). I got to go on the TK-K field trip to the pumpkin patch down the street from the school. It was not the best field trip. The owners were not there when we got there and so most things were shut down. I snapped a few pictures we let the kids walk through the hay maze and then walked back to school. The owners did show up an hour late, apparently they had had a death in the family and were unable to make it. The kids I don't think notice, but the parents sure did. Glad I got to go and be out on a beautiful fall day and get to know the little kids better.

Robs arm

Rob was hit by a pitch right on the arm/elbow. It swelled and was bruised and he wouldn't stop complaining about it so into the ER we went. Well he was fine and after ten minutes there you could tell he was fine. He was bored out of his mind so he kept twirling his hat while we waited for x rays.
The neat thing about this was I was learning about bones in my a & p class and I knew exactly what the doctor was talking about when he was using the actual bone names and positions.

Finally an anniversary game

It's tradition we go to a baseball game every year for our anniversary. This year we just didn't go until the playoffs, we got to see the fifth game of the first series, Oakland A's against the Detroit Tigers. Neither one of us had been to a playoff game. It was fun and I am glad I took the day off to spend time with PJ. Too bad the A's lost, we were hoping for them to go to the World Series now that would be a game to take off of work for too.

Work

I started working part time with a group who serve food and drinks at certain venues. I got to do a lot of concerts (sleep train amphitheater in wheatland) , and see a lot of interesting people. One of the things we got to do was work the play off games for the Oakland A's. That was a lot of fun and was neat to watch them start to change the field over for the upcoming Raiders game. Hopefully the A's will have their own stadium soon.
