Baptism
Jacobs blessing day with his uncle Loren.
On his baptism day. He doesn't quite fit anymore. I love that he still has this bond with my brother. They have always been friends and Jacob looks up to him a lot.
We always let the boys choose who they want to baptize them, Jacob picked Bradley (Loren's son).
We are so very proud of him and his decision to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is such a cute kid.
I don't know why but we didnt take a family picture.
Jacob
It's tradition that when we have a birthday they get to pick where or what we eat for one meal. After shooting Jacob decided that we should go to Red Robin. It was an ok meal and he loved that he got a free sundae out of it.
He didn't even wait for them to stop singing he just dug in and started eating.
Jacob turns 8
Jacob turned 8 on March 26th. He has been so excited and will be baptized on the 30th(Aunt Katies Birthday) of this month. He wanted to go shooting for his birthday so as a family we went out.

Opening Day, Part 2
I missed both boys games because I spent the day in the snack bar. I was helping Debra the snack bar lady since there was no other volunteers. I had just happened to walk by and she was by herself. So for 8 hours I helped in the snack bar. It was crazy busy for opening day at times, then there would be lulls. The boys loved it, they were able to eat free, because Debra was very grateful for our help. PJ was recruited for doing the raffles so that he could sit for the day. For opening day, the league was not ready for this side of things and didn't seem to want to help but they are new and it's a learning year. I am glad we could show the boys service and how to just go with the "flow", something that we are constantly working with them on. At the end of the day, I was washing dishes and Debra was cleaning the bathrooms and picking up trash. She thought she would make more memories for the boys.
Justin drove her to the trash can and Rob drove her back. They didn't do too bad at driving either.
They had a blast and it did make for good memories. I am grateful for boys who love to have fun and help out. Made for a long day into a good day.
Opening Day, Part 1
The two of them together. Love the smiles. I am glad they had a good opening day. Jacobs team tied 0-0. Roberts team lost in the 6th inning. 5-4. They still had fun.Saturday, March 23, 2013
Logan
Babysitting Logan. I love this little guy, he makes me smile in primary as he waves at me. His mom and dad (Summer and Geoff) were participating in a 5K so he came and spent the night, which he slept through. I am telling you this kid was easy to take care of.

As you know PJ is a yankees fan, Geoff is a Red Soxs fan. I laughed as I was getting him dressed and new that the war continues of who is better. I think it gives the guys something to talk about and harass each other with. It's great.
His mom has him trained well that if you say smile he actually does.
Such a cute kid. He behaved better than my own children at the Gun show and was a joy to watch.

15 seconds of fame
This was taken a few weeks ago and PJ sent it into NRA news Cam and Co. show and they aired the picture on tv. The show is on Sportsman Network. It was pretty cool. I like that PJ is teaching them how to properly handle guns and respect them. (By the way I love this gun, its a Rossi, 3-in-1)

Granparent Tea
Today was Grandparent Tea Day. Jacob was able to invite one grandparent to come have "tea" (lemonade) with him. They dress in their best and wear nice hats. He made flowers and remembered a poem, and a special introduction. He has been super excited about it. He decided to take my mom Grandma Henshaw.
We went and bought her a hat, and sent her a picture so she could coordinate.

With all the things that have been happening and me missing work I was unable to take off today so I could help be a server. I can't wait until he comes home and tells me all about it. I am grateful for technology today that I can get instant pictures from my moms phone and can post them on here.

Roberts tooth
So its two days later and he is still swollen and still taking antibiotics. He came to work with me while we waited for his dental appointment. He was thrilled but you can't tell because it hurts him to smile.

He got a rootbeer float for lunch since he can barely open his mouth to eat. He was secretly loving this day and the teachers and office staff were spoiling him.
We got to the Dentist and she immediately sent us to an oral surgeon. He of course was upset so I of course took pictures. It helps me stay calm in a way. Here he is waiting for the oral surgeon to come in to say what exactly is going to happen.
After she told us that he was going to have two teeth removed and they would get as much of the infection out as possible I was trying to make him laugh. It didn't work. This is the best angle I could get of the abscess that can not be seen inside his mouth, Just a huge lump and swelling.
I really did feel bad for him, secretly I am freaking out because they are sedating him and I hate when my kids go under sedation. So I turn it into something funny.
This is the coolest picture ever in my opinion. But it makes me realize man we are going to have to spend a lot in braces to get this mouth fixed.
After the procedure he is still trying to wake up but the swelling is way down. YIPEE!! Heres to a quick recovery, hopefully.
