Wil

Wil's birthday is not until the 15th but we decided to get together for cake and ice cream today 8/10/13. He is the big 19...I remember how old I felt at 19 now that I will be 35 I wish I was 19 again. He looks like he enjoyed it. Happy Birthday Wil.

Yogi

Yogi
This dog cracks me up with his graying "beard" and what he chooses to protect.
I am glad we added him to our family over three years ago. He fell asleep protecting his ball.
He was tired of me throwing it. He still can't fetch for too long since he was hit by the car a few years ago.
Of course i had to take a picture.

Slides

What do you do with four boys when all the neighbor kids are gone, take them out. We went to Roseville and at this park they have cement slides. Take a piece of cardboard or wax paper and down you go. The boys learned that if you have basketball style shorts that they work just as well as the cardboard, if not better. One more thing to add to things we can do together as a family.

River

We wanted to do something new, and get the boys out of the house. We only have a few more days left of summer so we took them to the River. We had them put on life jackets and showed them how to float the river. The boys loved it, and want to do it more. I am glad that we are able to give them memories like these.

New eyes

He has been complaining for years that his eyes bother him. The doctor was hesitant to even order them but decided to side on caution. Now if only I could get him to wear him when he is suppose to.

Traditions

Its a tradition we always go to at least one River Cats game as a family. This year some good friends of ours gave us tickets, so that was even better. Here we are early enough to be one of the few people in the stands goofing off.

Dads shop

This is a picture of the outside of the blacksmith shop my dad owned when we lived in Idaho. I remember going to this place and getting "pop". That was such a treat because we never got to drink "pop". I was seven and half when we left Idaho for California and am grateful my parents took us back usually once a year to see family and friends. I miss that life and how simple it truly was.
