Cub Scouts

For scouts Robert Learned about being an American then made Ginger bread men. So of course I took Pictures. Justin.

Justin came along and was my helper since PJ had a Little League board meeting. He got to make one too.

Officer Newman

Cub Scout night and it was time to learn about Policemen and what they do and how we can help them. PJ has a friend through umpiring that is a Highway Patrolman. He is in charge of the recruits at the academy or something along those lines. He was gracious enough to come and speak to the boys.Officer Newman "Brent" was great. He brought the boys a t-shirt and a little bouncy ball. He let them sit in the car and even handcuffed some of them. It was a great experience and now PJ is the cool one of the leaders but we already knew that.

Cub scouts

 

Well its still our anniversary but we have to do our calling as church leaders in the cub scout program. We are in charge of the Bear den. On this night we were teaching them how to play chess. One of them got it right away and the other we had to explain quite a bit. But all in all it was good.
